In-Circuit Test Fixtures

3070 Fixtures

Midwest builds and distributes hard to find HP (Agilent) In-Circuit Test fixture product such as the 3070 Cassette Fixture designed for use on the HP 3070 Autohandler. Kits can be purchased with or without the top cassette assembly. Repair parts are available for refurbishing latch rail assemblies. Probe plates are available separately for use in reclaiming obsolete fixtures. All parts are manufactured to HP specs and are fully interchangeable with existing legacy fixtures.

Through our affiliation with Schein Research we off the SR-3070 Fixture Press. The SR-3070 is designed to accept the Autohandler Cassette Fixtures in an offline mode. Other that the addition of a stripper plate there are no other modifications needed to existing fixtures. Fixture changeover time is less than one minute.

The unit is mounted on the 3070 Tester and allows manual loading and unloading of PCB Assemblies for test. Once the UUT is loaded and the operator starts the press cycle the unit compresses the fixture with overhead pneumatics. Since vacuum pressure is not used the force is distributed evenly and equally. At the end of the test cycle the SR-3070 press opens automatically for ease of operator unload.

Other features of the SR-3070 are crush detection for the UUT as well as the fixture. Operator safety is insured through the use of “Light Curtains” and dual hand switches that sense operator presence.

Additionally Midwest can offer both standard wired and “Wireless” test fixtures for the Agilent 3070 platform of In-Circuit Testers.

Through our affiliation with Value Engineering we offer turn key programming and fixturing for the Gen-Rad and Teradyne platforms of In-Circuit Testers. Alternatively we can interface with your fixture supplier of choice to develop program generation.
